The Quaker tradition (Roundwood was originally a Quaker property) of “a fair price” is one that we
have embraced totally. Our prices are the same year round and don’t increase for special dates or
special events.
Unfortunately we can’t compete with the current prices of ‘NAMA hotels’, who have been handed a
competitive advantage due to their connection with the banks. What we can do however, is welcome
you into a home steeped in history and give you a taste of life as it would have been in the 18th century (with the addition of central heating and WiFi, of course).
Accommodation Rates
Bed and Breakfast in the Main House

Bed and Breakfast in TheYellow House, the original house built circa 1680 by Anthony Sharp. His grandson, another Anthony Sharp who was a returned immigrant from America, built the main house, presumably because the old house was insufficient for a man of considerable wealth with a new family. It sits in a beautiful courtyard setting adjoining the Main House

Childrens’ dinner is served at 6p.m. and costs €10. We generally serve meals such as Spaghetti Bolognese or Shepherd’s Pie. Parents of fussy eaters are welcome to discuss the menu with us by email or phone prior to arrival.
